On Thursday it was our Hundredth Day of School. We made special glasses and crowns for the day. We sang a 100th day song. We had a special visit from Zero the Hero to talk to us about the importance of the number 0 and how it has value. We played some games in math and talked about the hundreds grid. The class had a great time and came in today asking about the 200th day of school:)
On Friday we had the opportunity to share with our families our Portfolios which represented the hard work that we have done this year. Students also shared their number corner journal, math journal and writing folder. I'd like to thank the parents who were able to make it in to see these. For those parents who could not attend, I am sending home the portfolios for the weekend and would appreciate it if they could be returned on Monday so that we can continue to add work to represent our time between now and the end of the year.

A reminder that students can begin bringing their Valentines in next Tuesday. Also they will be previewing the book fair on Monday and will have time buy books on Tuesday.
On Monday we will attend the Kindergarten Dress Rehearsal for their concert.
